BC Court of Appeal Decision: Thow v. BC Securities Commission

The BC Court of Appeal has released its reasons for judgment in Thow v. BC (Securities Commission).

The decision reduced the administrative penalty imposed against Mr. Thow from $6 million to $250,000 because Mr. Thow's constraventions to the Securities Act occured at a time when the latter amount was the maximum penalty.
