Harper Grey LLP Partner Larry Koo was quoted in a Business in Vancouver feature about the positive trends in British Columbia business bankruptcy rates.

"...Harper Grey LLP partner and insolvency lawyer, Larry Koo could point to no major regulatory changes by government that would have prompted the sudden drop.

"It's pretty obvious that the main reasons [for a few bankruptcies] are low interest rates and a strong economy, Koo said.

"However, I've noticed a trend rather than making loans to businesses, banks are increasingly making loans to principals, and that the principals have been putting their money into their businesses."
