Mike Tammen & Kieran Bridge to be honoured for pro bono work

Mike Tammen is being honoured by the BC Civil Liberties Association for his outstanding work at the Frank Paul Inquiry, a provincial inquiry into the death of Frank Paul, a 47-year-old Mi'kmaq man who was left by Vancouver police in a downtown eastside alley where he died of exposure.
Mike is also being recognized for his pro bono work on the case Criminal Justice Branch of the Ministry of the Attorney General v. William H. Davies, Commissioner, which resulted in a decision by the BC Supreme Court that held that Criminal Justice Branch must provide evidence in the Frank Paul inquiry concerning prosecutors' decisions not to lay charges in connection with the death of Frank Paul.
Kieran Bridge is also being honoured for his successful pro bono work on behalf of a citizen involved in a police incident.
