Richard Bereti Authors New Book on Environmental Law
March 17, 2006The Co-Chair of Harper Grey's Environmental Law Group, Richard Bereti, recently authored the first book to address the new environmental statute in British Columbia:
British Columbia Environmental Management Legislation and Commentary (2006 Edition), published by LexisNexis Butterworths.
The Volume includes the new Environmental Management Act and the updated Contaminated Sites Regulation, as well as a Table of Concordance relating the new Act to the former Waste Management Act. The book also includes a helpful Commentary by Richard Bereti which addresses some of the key provisions of the Act and Regulation in the context of Contaminated Sites. The Volume will be updated and expanded annually; look for a significantly expanded Commentary in the 2007 Edition.
