Sandra articled with Harper Grey in 2004-2005 and joined the firm as an Associate following her call to the Bar of British Columbia in 2005.
Representative Client WorkSandy has represented clients as either primary counsel or co-counsel in the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Court of Appeal. Her practice is primarily civil litigation-based with a focus in Aviation Law, Health Law, Sexual Assault (Civil), and General Insurance Defense and Subrogation matters. Sandy has also appeared consistently in the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal forum, representing both Complainants and Respondents in matters involving discrimination in employment and access to services. BackgroundPrior to becoming a lawyer, Sandy obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at Simon Fraser University, majoring in History with a minor in Criminology. Sandy completed her law degree at the University of Alberta in Edmonton in 2004. During law school she was elected by her peers to the position of Vice-President Social for two years consecutively and was awarded the Shoctor Award in Law for her significant contribution to student life. Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Sandy returned to Vancouver after graduation and commenced her articles with Harper Grey LLP. In her spare time, Sandy enjoys traveling, running, snowboarding, and golfing. She speaks Hungarian fluently.
