Patrick Spinks practices in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation, criminal law, and administrative law. Patrick joined the firm as an associate after articling with Harper Grey in 2006. Patrick uses his M.B.A. and business background to assist clients in reaching cost effective resolutions to their legal problems.

  • During his undergraduate studies at S.F.U., Patrick maintained a consistent presence on the Dean’s List, in addition to receiving the Linda Brideau Memorial Scholarship in the Criminology Honours Program.
  • At the University of Victoria, Patrick received the Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLB/MBA Scholarship , and the Alexander, Holburn, Beaudin & Lang Entrance Scholarship in Law. Patrick also received the MBA entrance scholarship, and graduated on the Dean’s List for the Faculty of Business.

Background

Patrick was born on Vancouver Island and grew up in Surrey, British Columbia. Patrick travelled extensively while obtaining his Honours degree in Criminology at S.F.U.. He has cycled across Europe, through the Canadian Rockies, Nova Scotia and Vietnam. Patrick has backpacked through the Middle East, Central America and South East Asia. His experience and love of travel lead Patrick to develop and publish an adventure travel magazine for four years prior to attending law school.

Patrick is enjoying being back in Vancouver, and when not working, spends his leisure time with his wife and two children.
