Wes practices in our condo, commercial, securities and construction litigation groups. Before joining Harper Grey, Wes practiced at a leading construction and commercial litigation boutique in Vancouver. 

Wes has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia.  He is also called to the Manitoba Bar.

Representative Client Work

• Successfully defended an application for leave to appeal to the British Columbia Court of Appeal
• Successfully prosecuted an application for security for costs in a claim for breach of a restrictive covenant
• Assisting senior counsel in prosecuting and defending builders lien claims and deficiency claims
• Assisting senior counsel in prosecuting an arbitration in favour of a formwork contractor
• Sole conduct of various Supreme Court and Small Claims matters from inception to conclusion

Background

Wes was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Prior to law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction and passed the Canadian Securities Course with Honours. 

In his spare time, Wes enjoys golf, hockey and triathlons.
