Jennifer articled at Harper Grey LLP from 2001-2002 and joined the firm as an associate following her call to the Bar of British Columbia. 

Jennifer's practice is focused on insurance law and professional liability defence, including the defence of doctors, dentists, physiotherapists and insurance brokers. She is the Assistant Chair of our Insurance Law Practice Group and a Past Chair of our Associates Committee.

Representative Client Work

• Successfully defending dentists and physicians at trial against allegations of breach of standard of care and lack of informed consent
• Successfully defending a landlord at trial and on appeal against allegations of vicarious liability for an employee's sexual assault of a tenant
• Successfully defending insurance brokers at trial in broker liability cases
• Assisting senior counsel in the leading case in BC considering the allocation of fault in a contractual setting
• Facilitating the resolution of matters at mediation

Background

Jennifer is a season ticket holder for the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre and a member of the Bard on the Beach Theatre Society. She enjoys reading, running and travelling.
