POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking Legal Administrative Assistants with primary experience in litigation to join our team. The successful candidates will have between 3-5 years’ experience working in a law firm in British Columbia, be energetic, flexible, highly motivated and driven to succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be drafting and transcribing legal documents, pleadings and correspondence, fielding client inquiries, maintaining a good BF system, organizing meetings, scheduling appointments, keeping paper and electronic files up-to-date, preparing monthly accounts, conducting searches and be responsible for a number of administrative tasks.

QUALITIES & EXPERTISE

  • A Legal Administrative Assistant certificate from an accredited institution.
  • A thorough understanding of litigation procedures (corporate experience a definite asset).
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • The ability to work independently.

• Flexible to providing interim coverage in all practice areas of the firm
