B.C.’s Contaminated Sites Regulation now covers 20,000 pages in a score of volumes after amendments were added last year. Adam Way was quoted in Business in Vancouver’s article “Contaminated-site Developments Hit 20,000-page Speed Bump” which considers how the update to provincial legislation regulations increase complexity and cost of redevelopments. The article, written by Frank O’Brien, appeared in the Commercial Real Estate Section of the May 29-June 4, 2018 issue. Read the article here. Adam’s quote was based on two previous articles written by him relating to the new CSR omnibus legislation: “Transition Provisions for the Stage 10 (Omnibus) Update” and “Changes Coming to the British Columbia Contaminated Sites Regulation” which can be found here and here, respectively.
