CBC Vancouver interviews Michael Drouillard on the use of discriminatory language in land title documents
January 24, 2020
Harper Grey real estate lawyer, Michael Drouillard, was recently interviewed by Gloria Macarenko on CBC Vancouver’s radio show, On The Coast. The interview discussed the use of discriminatory language in land title documents of many houses across BC, including Vancouver, Victoria and West Vancouver.
The interview comes on the heels of a recent motion by a West Vancouver councilor which hopes to begin the process of identifying and removing any remaining covenants in the district that discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, ancestry or religion. The proposal also prohibits the creation of such clauses in the future.
