Harper Grey celebrates International Women’s Day through 2018 West Coast LEAF Equality Breakfast sponsorship

The 31st annual West Coast LEAF Equality Breakfast was held on Friday, March 9, 2018. Harper Grey lawyers and staff attended the event which celebrated International Women’s Day and raised much needed support for LEAF’s work in litigation, law reform and public legal education. This year’s event featured a silent auction and address by keynote speaker Robyn Doolittle. Robyn is an award-winning journalist and author who’s “Unfounded” investigation into how Canadian police services handle sexual assault cases has prompted a national overhaul of policy, training and practices around sexual violence, with police services vowing to review tens of thousands of previously closed cases.
