Mathew works closely with the group’s lawyers providing paralegal support and attending to the annual maintenance for British Columbia, federal and extra-provincially registered companies and not for profit organizations. He also manages incorporations and dissolutions, share transactions, transactional due diligence, business name registrations, name changes, alterations and all routine changes.
Mathew hails from Sydney, NSW Australia and began his legal career seven years ago enrolling in law school at Bond University while obtaining his undergraduate degree from Griffith University in commerce (finance). Mathew’s passion for helping and working extensively with the homeless in Melbourne and on the Gold Coast, QLD led to his focus on homeless law, residential tenancies and conveyancing. Mathew moved to BC a little over 4 years ago after a cross continental trip through Canada and the U.S. visiting family and joined a law firm in Squamish.
In his spare time, Mathew enjoys recreational activities such as skiing, cycling, climbing and hiking. He is also passionate about art, theatre and classical music and has travelled through Europe seeking it out.
Mathew is a member of the QLD Law Society and the BC Paralegal Association.
