Daniel Reid to present on “Insurance Issues With The Sharing Economy” at upcoming BCRIMA Luncheon

Harper Grey associate, Daniel Reid, will present at the BC Risk and Insurance Management Association (BCRIMA) Luncheon to be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Daniel’s presentation will focus on “Insurance Issues with the Sharing Economy” addressing the impact on the future of the Canadian insurance industry, coverage and liability issues arising out of ride-sharing (Uber), home sharing (AirBnB) and delivery (Flex) apps to the emergence of “peer-to-peer” lending, how these shared services are structured and regulated and insurance issues that have emerged in Canada and the US arising out of the “gig economy”.
