Steven Abramson to be panelist at CLEBC 2018 Insurance Law Conference

On Friday, November 2, 2018, Harper Grey partner, Steven Abramson, will act as a panelist at the 2018 CLEBC Insurance Law Conference. The panel, titled “Cannabis in Canada – Implications of Legalization for Insurers and Counsel” will address a number of cannabis-focused topics including: policy changes and new wording, the impact on property and casualty underwriting and coverages and how the insurance industry will address these new risks.
This conference will be of interest to insurance litigators and insurance industry professionals: plaintiff and defence counsel, claims managers, senior claims executives, arbitrators, mediators, underwriters, and insurance adjusters and will provide an annual review of current insurance law and practice. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to network with colleagues while learning valuable practice tips for conducting and managing insurance files and will leave the conference feeling up to date and on top of the changes to insurance law.
