Anand Soma

Anand joined Harper Grey in 2025 as an associate with our construction law group. With seven years of experience advising clients across his diverse practice, Anand has previously assisted with a broad range of insurance related matters, including construction, property damage, strata property, products liability, occupier’s liability, personal injury, professional negligence, employment and human rights.

In his current capacity, Anand represents insurers, warranty and surety providers, owners, developers, contractors, and subcontractors in all aspects of construction projects and disputes. He provides strategic advice on contract negotiation, project risk management, delay and deficiency claims, new home warranty and complex multi-party litigation.

Anand’s unique and informed perspective of the industry allows him to anticipate challenges and deliver solutions that align with his clients’ business goals. He is known for his clear communication style, pragmatic advice, and ability to resolve disputes efficiently—whether through negotiation or litigation.

In his spare time Anand enjoys cooking, golfing, reading and spending time with his wife and son.
