As CIO, Dharam is responsible for the operational and strategic management of the firm’s information technology resources including data management, digital security, disaster recovery, network infrastructure, and a wide array of applications. In addition, Dharam also functions as the project manager for new system implementations.
Dharam is an inspiring technology leader with 19 years of experience in the management and deployment of legal technology. He leads a team of technology specialists dedicated to ensuring that the firm’s business objectives are reached through advanced technologies. Dharam and his team work closely and collaboratively with practice groups to proactively identify current infrastructure requirements as well as anticipated growth needs. In addition to the day-to-day management of the firm’s technology resources, Dharam works on an ongoing basis to develop and implement the innovative leading edge technology and document management processes essential to supporting the efficient delivery of legal services.
Dharam received his MBA from Simon Fraser University and earlier graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science degree (combined major in Computer Science and Mathematics).
Dharam is an active member of BCLMA (technology subsection) as well as the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA).
When not at work, you can find him spending time participating in activities such as golf, squash, ball hockey, curling, and softball.
