Launch of the Site Remediation Services Web App
November 3, 2025
On September 16, 2025, the Ministry of Environment and Park introduced the Site Remediation Services (SRS) Web App, a new digital platform designed to streamline the submission of forms and contaminated sites service applications. This web-based application aims to enhance efficiency and transparency within the Site Remediation Program.
With the launch of the SRS Web App, all applications must now be submitted directly through the platform. The previous forms page has been retired and is no longer accepting submissions. Users are required to use an email associated with their BCeID to submit applications and access the BC Box for document management.
A key feature of the SRS Web App is the ability to review the status of your application after submission, providing greater visibility and control throughout the process. It is important to note that the app was launched during a period of labour disruption, which may result in some backlog as the Ministry completes the transition and resolve any outstanding issues.
For environmental consultants and other stakeholders, adapting to the new SRS Web App will be essential for continued compliance and efficient site remediation workflows. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the new submission process to avoid delays and ensure your applications are processed smoothly.
