Kim Jakeman to Take Part in an Upcoming Event for Prospective Students Hosted by the Allard School of Law

Harper Grey partner, Kim Jakeman, KC, will take part in an upcoming day-long event on Sunday, March 26 hosted by the Peter A. Allard School of Law Admissions team and Youth Leaders in Law. The event, taking place at Allard Hall on the UBC campus, is for high school students interested in learning more about a career in law. Students will have an opportunity to hear from legal practitioners from a variety of fields over the course of the day including criminal law, indigenous law and international law to name a few.

Kim will be hosting the breakout room for health law and will be covering topics such as what a day-in-the-life of a health law lawyer looks like, noteworthy and interesting cases she’s been a part of, and why she chose health law. The presentation will be informal to allow for questions and open discussion from students.

Kim is the chair of Harper Grey’s Health Law Group and has an impressive reputation for leading physician defence cases in BC.
