Harper Grey Continues to Support BIPOC Students with LSAT Prep Course Sponsorship
September 12, 2024
Harper Grey is proud to continue its support for the LSAT preparation course offered by UBC’s Black Law Students’ Association in partnership with the Indigenous Legal Studies program at UBC’s Allard School of Law.
The 2023 course, held from late June to late August, welcomed 28 participants. Of these, 50% self-identified as Indigenous, 25% as Black, and 25% as either Indigenous or Black, without specifying their identity.
Reflecting on the program’s impact, a student participant from the 2023 Impact Report noted, “It was evident that this course was crafted with one goal in mind: student success… It also alleviated the financial stressors of purchasing a LawHub subscription, which is critical in the LSAT prep journey.”
The 2023 summer term marked the third year that the Allard School of Law administered the course, which provides accessible and personalized support to students, helping to reduce barriers for a diverse range of aspiring law professionals.
