Harper Grey marks Pride Month with a series of celebratory events
August 23, 2024
To celebrate Pride Month, Harper Grey firm members participated in ‘The Really Gay History Tour,’ organized by Forbidden Vancouver. The tour, which took us through Davie Village, offered an insightful look into the history and contributions of some of the most courageous pioneers of the LGBTQ2+ community. Glenn Tkach from The Pink Hat led the tour with exceptional enthusiasm, sharing poignant and impactful stories that resonated deeply with our team.
In addition to the walking tour, the Harper Grey Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee organized an afternoon of treats, where team members enjoyed a selection of vibrant, rainbow-themed refreshments, fostering a sense of community and inclusion within the firm.
Earlier in the month, we acknowledged the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. We commemorated this important event by sharing information about the importance of Pride Month.
We are thrilled to celebrate Pride Month by supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and supporting a local business. We were particularly excited to find multiple meaningful ways to come together in recognition of Pride and all that it represents.
