Inaugural UVIC Harper Grey LLP Diversity Award Allocated

We are excited to announce that the UVIC Harper Grey LLP Diversity Award has been allocated to its first recipient. This award was established in 2022 by Harper Grey’s DIBC Committee to recognize an undergraduate Black, Indigenous, Person of Colour (BIPOC) woman student entering the UVIC Faculty of Law. Our firm has been supporting students at UVIC through scholarships for over 33 years as we aim to continue pursuing philanthropic leadership in our community and a memorable legacy for students.
Our DIB Committee focuses on Harper Grey’s firm-wide diversity and inclusiveness strategies and strives to support initiatives that identify, enhance and implement best practices in all areas of diversity and inclusion within our firm and the community as a whole. We hope the new entrance award Harper Grey has created together with UVic will help reduce barriers to entry and support equity and diversity amongst future law students.
