Harper Grey to host “HR 101: What They Didn’t Teach You in Law School” CBA Seminar

On Tuesday, June 2, Harper Grey will collaborate with the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) to host “HR 101: What They Didn’t Teach You in Law School.” The session will be offered both in person and virtually and will feature insights from Harper Grey lawyers, Rose Keith, KC, Prentice Durbin, and Ryan Chan.

The seminar, presented by CBA’s In-House Lawyers Section, will focus on recent trends in workplace law, and how these are impacting in-house counsel in British Columbia. They highlight topics such as The Pay Transparency Act, the use of AI in employee monitoring, employment contracts including terminations and accommodations, and human rights considerations.
