Joel Morris’ article “A Junior Litigator’s Tookit” was published in the May 2016 edition of The Advocate (Vol. 74, Part 3). Junior litigators face the never-ending process of accumulating and applying both knowledge and experience that constitutes the practice of law. Joel’s article provides a junior litigator’s “toolkit” of significant cases in various aspects of civil practice before the Supreme Court of British Columbia intended to help develop a working familiarity with a few legal principles and procedures that frequently arise in civil practice.
