Mark has a diverse background advising clients across his broad health, insurance, and personal injury practice.

Biography

In his insurance practice, Mark represents and advises clients in claims involving property losses, subrogated claims, accident benefits claims, professional negligence, and bodily injury claims. Mark also represents uninsured individuals or companies.

In his health law practice, Mark defends health professionals in civil claims.

In his personal injury practice, Mark represents clients who have been injured in a variety of situations, including motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, slips and falls, recreational activities, and assaults. Mark approaches each and every file with empathy and commitment to achieving the best result for the client.

Mark has experience in general civil litigation, including probate and administration applications, as well as committeeship applications.

Mark has appeared before the Provincial Court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, and the Human Rights Tribunal and has significant experience in conducting mediations.

Mark completed both his bachelor’s degree and law degree at the University of British Columbia and was called to the BC Bar in 2014.  Mark has volunteered with Access Pro Bono since his call to the bar, providing assistance to low-income individuals.

Outside of the office, Mark spends time with his family exploring the outdoors and particularly the mountains for hiking, rock climbing, and skiing.
