Jimmy Peterson coached Special Olympics basketball tournament

Harper Grey lawyer, Jimmy Peterson, coached the North Shore basketball team at the Special Olympics Basketball “March Madness” Tournament hosted at Collingwood High School in West Vancouver on February 28 and March 1. The tournament is one of the biggest Special Olympic Basketball events boasting 23 teams from across British Columbia. The competition was tight with the North Shore team winning two out of four games and finishing third in the division.
Jimmy has been coaching Special Olympics basketball for over twenty years. Special Olympics provides individuals with developmental disabilities a chance to play sports, stay fit, improve their health, make friends, and compete. Learn more about the Special Olympics Basketball program here.
In his current capacity, Jimmy focuses on insurance, personal injury, and family law. He appears in court regularly and has run numerous trials in insurance and family law matters. Jimmy is an author of the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) British Columbia Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Practice Manual and has been a presenter for the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) on family law.
