On May 17, 2016, as part of the Harper Grey Bridging the Gap Seminar Series, Kara Hill and Scott Marcinkow will co-present “How To Avoid College Complaints And What To Do Should One Arise?” to health care professionals.
Complaints happen. And when they do, it can be stressful and time consuming. Health care professionals are subject to the oversight of their professional regulators. Clients, colleagues, employers, and other members of the public are entitled to complain to their Colleges. In this presentation, attendees will learn:
- practical tips for avoiding complaints in the first place;
- how the College processes complaints; and
- steps to take if a complaint is received.
This presentation will equip health care professionals to effectively manage many of the risks of running a health law practice, with a guide to addressing complaints if they arise.
