On June 28, 2016, as part of the Harper Grey Bridging the Gap Seminar Series, Lindsay Johnston and Mandeep Gill will co-present “Do Your Records & Reports Pass The Test?” to health care professionals.
Keeping good records and drafting reports are important aspects of any health care professionals’ practice. In the course of day-to-day practice, they will receive requests from lawyers or others for reports relating to their patients. These reports can be time-consuming and even daunting. In this seminar attendees will learn:
- Good charting practices and strategies to enhance patient safety and avoid regulatory and medical-legal criticism;
- How to respond to ICBC requests for release of patient records; and
- How to respond to report requests and what reports should and should not include.
This seminar will equip health care professionals with the knowledge needed to simplify their practices with respect to record keeping and writing reports.
If you would like more information about this seminar or if you are interested in a complementary custom seminar that will address specific concerns and interests of your workplace, please contact either Lindsay Johnston or Mandeep Gill.
